Calling All Horse Lovers! Volunteer With Us and Make a Difference!

Here at Happy Trails Horse Rescue we’ve been on a mission to help our community with their personal horses as well as to provide sanctuary, rehabilitation and loving homes for horses in need. Our efforts are fueled by a passion for these majestic creatures and a commitment to their well-being.

However, as with any noble endeavor, we can’t do it alone. We rely on the support and dedication of volunteers like you to help us carry out our mission.

Volunteer opportunities:

Horse care: Assist with grooming, water trough cleaning and general care of horses.
Ranch Care: Assist with cleaning the barn area to ensure organization and ease of use.
Event Support: Help organize and participate in fundraising events, outreach programs and educational activities.
Administrative Support: Contribute your skills in office tasks, social media management, grant writing and more to support the rescue’s operations.
Board support: We are currently searching for additional board members to help us with the foundational work needed for a horse rescue. Would you be interested?
We are also always looking for help with training, saddle fitting, marketing, event planning, music for events, artist, therapy, education and much more!
Qualification:

Passion for horses and their welfare
Reliability and commitment to scheduled volunteer hours
Willingness to learn and follow safety guidelines
No prior horse experience required; training will be provided.
