Supporting Horses
The average cost to rescue, rehabilitate and provide routine state of the art physical and medical care for a horse can be between $3,000-$4,000 per year. That can easily approach well over $300 per month per horse at the rescue, especially if any special needs of the horses arise.
Also through our SURRENDER PREVENTION Program, we strive to help horse owners in our community provide care for their horses even when they may fall on troubled times. Please help us fund the hay bank, grain and medicine bank and health care opportunities for this program.
We are only able to provide this level of care through support from donors. Sadly, there is no federal funding and very limited grant opportunities available for horses.
If you want to offer support, our greatest need is for donations so we can focus our efforts on helping these beautiful animals.
