Deseo (aka The Wish)

Deseo, a registered American Warmblood, is a half Clydesdale / half Paint gelding who is 23 years old. His previous owner was there at his birth and he has been well cared for his entire life. Sadly, life sometimes sends us through unexpected changes that have prevented her from continuing this stellar care. He had been wintering here at the rescue as part of our SURRENDER PREVENTION program but he has since been sadly surrendered for adoption.

Deseo has been thoroughly trained in dressage and trail riding. He is a sweet, gentle giant who is very well mannered and well behaved. This stunning horse is also in great health, other than a previous laminitis episode that has been stabilized by medication, good shoeing and diet. Deseo cannot be on green pasture.
