Freckles

Freckles was rescued from over grazing in pasture, untouched for many years. She quickly bonded with Fremont and lived a few wonderful years with him until her hooves got very painful and we discovered that she suffered a sunken coffin bone. We were shocked as in every other way, she was healthy. But as they say, no hoof - no horse. Humane euthanasia was our only option to put her out of the terrible pain she suffered. Hoping her and Fremont are back together, running through endless fields of happiness again across the rainbow bridge.
