Puma

A beautiful Chestnut Quarter Horse gelding, he was named Puma because he was attacked twice by cougars before he turned 6 months of age. He was also born with a club foot that required surgery at the age of three. Poor fellow got off to a rough start but was then in a rescue and adopted at age 3, but sadly his owner came down with cancer and could no longer care for him. He arrived at our rescue in 2022 at the age of 20 and he was a super sweet fellow who loved attention and grooming. Unfortunately, he developed a leg infection and was in terrible pain, so we released him to run free again in Heaven in the Fall of 2023.
